CLEVELAND, Ohio — 9.22.2009 — Explorys will be attending the first annual Hadoop World this month along with other leaders in the BIG DATA space. This is a special event that brings together many of the industry’s most forward thinker in data and software engineering including Yahoo!, Facebook, Amazon, IBM, and Intel.

Apache Hadoop is a Java software framework that supports data intensive distributed applications under a free license. It enables applications to work with thousands of nodes and petabytes of data. Hadoop was inspired by Google's MapReduce and Google File System (GFS) papers.
